Smartphone App TrickorTracker Removes Parents' Worries-Kids Can More Safely Enjoy Halloween

Iconosys unveils a new Smartphone app that enables responsible parents to know the exact whereabouts of their trick-or-treating kids without requiring them to follow alongside in the family car (risking the lives of others that may stray into their paths, as they are distracted by the task of diligently watching their children from the car window).

Iconosys, Inc., has created TrickorTrackerso that parents can safely monitor their kids via their Smartphone, while their children are out and about gathering treats.  TrickorTracker is free of charge for Halloween (it does expire afterwards), or can be purchased for $9.99 thereafter for full lifetime coverage of family members.

Basketball Team to Bounce into Town Soon

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Several semi-pro basketball teams have set up shop in the River City, only to disappear after a short time. A new team is aiming to change that record.

We've had the Jacksonville Jam, The Jacksonville Slam, The Floridians, and the Jacksonville Stingrays.

The owner of a new team, that is yet to be named, is hoping for about 5,000 people to come out to each home game.

Fifteen home games will be played at the Veterans Memorial Arena starting in early December.

The new owner is no stranger to this area. He is local attorney Ron Sholes, who already owns the pub next door to the arena.

"We're confident there are basketball fans here in Jacksonville," said Sholes.

The new team doesn't have a name yet, but Sholes said give them about 10 days to come up with one.

Locals might remember past basketball teams like the Jacksonville Jam.
