MOSH's Bella Luna set for February 12th!

Do you cringe at the idea of spending another Valentine’s Day at a crowded restaurant? Treat your sweetheart to the Museum of Science & History’s annual Valentine’s event, Bella Luna: Dessert Under the Stars.

On Saturday, February 12 from 7 to 10 p.m., MOSH will present Bella Luna: Dessert Under the Stars.  The evening will include rooftop stargazing; a special love-themed Cosmic Concert in the new Bryan-Gooding Planetarium; full museum access (child-free!); games and prizes; and more.  Museum programs will include Opposites Attract, an interactive show in the JEA Science Theater that will explore electricity and chemistry, and Cuddly Creatures, which will allow guests to get up close and personal with the scaly and furry residents of the Florida Naturalist’s Center.

Your romantic evening under the stars will be complete with decadent desserts and hors d’oeuvres from some of the area’s top restaurants and caterers, including Biscotti’s, Catering by Liz Grenamyer, Corporate Caterers and Catering by Fernando.  Coffee, soda and water will accompany the desserts and each guest will receive one complimentary glass of wine or beer.  (Additional beer and wine will be available for purchase).

Tickets to Bella Luna are $45 per couple ($35 for MOSH Members). For required reservations and pre-payment, call 904.396.MOSH (6674), ext. 240, or register online at Space is limited!
